County Central High School Students

Palliser Beyond Borders is proud to be part of Palliser Regional Schools, giving students a unique multicultural online learning experience and access to the division's outstanding teachers online or in person. The program serves courses to students living in Alberta and international students who are in Alberta on an approved student visa.

High School Citizenship Award

The High School Citizenship Award recognizes an individual with outstanding characteristics in the areas of academic ability, leadership in school sponsored, community, or extracurricular activities, and a demonstrated willingness to place the good of others above personal ambitions. County Central High School is allocated one award. 

RECIPIENTS WILL RECEIVE A PLAQUE AND A LETTER Of COMMENDATION

and 

The successful applicant’s name will be forwarded to the Alberta Heritage Scholarship Fund.

Kinsmen Memorial Scholarship

In Memory of Life Member Gene Messerli

The Kinsmen Club of Vulcan established this local scholarship to encourage community involvement, and promote the quest of higher learning for ALL students. Assistance is
provided to applicants who are pursuing post-secondary education through any stream, be it college, technical institution, registered apprenticeship or university. Deadline August 31.

This Scholarship is valued at $500.

Kinette Club Of Vulcan

The Kinette Club of Vulcan established this bursary to promote, encourage, and sponsor educational programs and activities by providing assistance to applicants in their quest for higher learning at a recognized post-secondary institution. Deadline July 15.

Vulcan County Agricultural Services Bursary

To encourage Vulcan County high school students to choose a career in
agricultural or environmental sciences, and to financially assist them while
attending an agricultural or agricultural science related program.

VAPPA is an association comprised of landowners, government representatives and, oil and gas companies who have holdings in the Vulcan County area and are very interested in being an integral part of our community.
