Rural Outreach and Mentorship Initiative

For any students interested in healthcare/medicine careers, there is a group called Rural Outreach and Mentorship Initiative (ROMI), a program run by the Society of Rural Physicians of Canada.

This initiative aims to promote mentorship to rural high school students interested in healthcare/medicine during their transition to post-secondary school.

Students in the program will be paired with a current Canadian medical student to provide individual mentorship and will have the opportunity to attend group events hosted by ROMI (e.g. Pathways to Medicine, Scholarship applications, CV workshop, Trivia, etc.)
