Delivery Models and Fee Structure

Delivery Models

Courses may be offered through a variety of delivery models including:

  • Distance Learning (ADLC)
    • Print courses marked off campus
    • On-line courses
  • Self-contained distance learning modules administered at Vulcan Outreach School
  • Moodle computer based programming
  • Locally developed materials
  • Off-campus learning activities (for example, work experience)

Fee Structure

  1. A $25.00 non-refundable administration fee will be charged for each 3-credit or 5-credit course:
    • if a student is repeating a failed course
    • if a student is upgrading a course mark
    • if there is a scheduling conflict
    • if there are no other course options in the CCHS timetable
    • if the student is directed by school administration to enroll in outreach courses
    • if a student is a full time student in the outreach program. Full time students pay a maximum of $80 per semester.
    • A $100.00 non-refundable administration fee will be charged for each 3-credit or 5-credit course:
      • if there will be a duplication of service (for example, if a student could take the course in the CCHS schedule but chooses to work through the outreach program)
    • There may be additional fees for textbooks or other materials.

    Please be aware that all courses are not available in all delivery models.
